With this semester coming to an end I want to say that tech pete has taught me a lot. Even though I knew about some of the programs that we used there were some that I didn't know about. I will say that I am going to use a lot of the stuff we learned when I go out teaching or even when I am working at the YMCA. The class was very well taught and ran smoothly. I have been able to help my friends with questions that they have about powerpoint, excel or even word. At least when I go home I know I will be able to help my mom and dad when they have questions about the stuff they are doing.

Tech Pete Video

So trying to make the tech pete video was challenging and funny all at the same time. For one it was so hard not to sit there and laugh while I was recording. Then when I went to edit my video is when the real fun started. When I uploaded it to IMovie maker I realized I looked like a midget. Yes this was really funny but I do not know why this happened because is showed up normal on my iPod and on another computer. But when I finished the full product I thought it was very funny and kept me looking like a midget.

Ropes Course

Today we went to the ropes course for outdoor pursuits. We had four different activities to choose from. I got to preform two of the four activites, which I was kind of upset because I wanted to do more.The activited that i did were tough I did the Heebee Geebee lunge and the Silva Swings. Both of the activites involve upper body strenth and a lot of balance. I would stromgly suggest people to go out and try these activites.                                 

SRU Cross Country

This coming fall the cross country team is going to go down in size. Coach is going to have a difficult time but has to make cuts to the team. If anyone knows because of title nine the team is already small on the guys side. We had injured girls running a mile just so we could have more guys run. Now with cutting the girls side its going to make the guys team even smaller than what it is. I don't understand how things keep happening to the team. First there was the scare of not even having a team anymore and now they are making cuts to the team. I understand that there are people who show up and don't take it seriously, but what about the people who do take it seriously who might lose there spot on the team because they have to make so many cuts.
